To be Free

The original picture

In both of these images, I just focus on the feeling of freedom. So I tryed to make the original pic looked like liquid. It's like a hard metal is melted and becomes flexible. So it gains the feeling of freedom in my mind. Almost the effects I used is the "Liquify".

  • So impressive. I like your liquify effects on your pictures that makes the original become unrecognizable.

  • Thanks! In your opinion, is it interesting to creat something different with the original elements? Or We should keep some original points? I'm quite confuse about this because sometime I think that the original pictures are more exciting then my works!

I think that it's simply a mistake to compare them. The original is one person's work and the second is yours. You each have totally different intentions - both are valid.

I must say that I like the second abstraction a lot. The element of metal is still there, in the laticework of the drill-bit. It still contains a sharp quality to it... but with the strength disappated.

    Nice!

  • Thanks MM! Now it's for me to keep doing my jobs, actually playing with them!

I prefer the second image too. the idea of this image was come from my first one. after i finished the first image, I felt a little bit disappointed, it was not what I was thinking about. Then I began with the second one. I still keep the idea of using Liquify effect, but I reduced some layers that made the first image unclear. Finally, I had the second image!!
